These work ok, but the top is skinnier than the bottom. So, while a sandwich would work, you can’t get it through the opening without tearing it up.It’s a little hard to close. I can line it up and put it together, but the kids can’t.Also, we turn them inside out when we put them I the dishwasher and they get cleanerI wanted so much to love these.They are thick silicone material, hold a lot, have a flat bottom (easier to fill), have a Christmas tree on the front of each bag, and have a little dial on the front also, to tell you the order of use. Awesome! I sent them through the dishwasher and, except for water collecting on the bottoms (upside down), they came out good as new. Then I filled a few of them with various amounts of water. No matter how carefully I sealed them, they ALL leaked. Durn! I'm still going to use them, but not for soups or stews. Disappointed. So close!Bags are smaller than i thought they would be. The opening is a bit narrow and makes it hard to put stuff in. The bag won’t stand on it’s own so you need one hand to hold open while putting stuff in. However the quality of this product is great! The seal is completely leakproofI like the product quality, the material is good and cleans well without residue. The down side for me is that it is difficult to keep the bag's mouth open and put the food in, it has to be held open. That is why I rated it only 4 stars. Perhaps the same product in a larger size would make it somewhat easier, but it would be better if the design allowed it to stay open when filling.Just love these convenient storage bags for the freezer. Will definitely purchase more. They take up less space in the freezer and keep the food fresh. Well worth the price. Re-useable and saves from having to purchase freezer bags which usually last only 1 time.I love the bags, super handy and pretty easy to clean, but I was pretty disappointed to see that each individual bag (there were four) was wrapped in plastic. Why?? It's just so unnecessary. We need to move away from extra and unnecessary plastic waste for the sake of our planet. That is why I ordered these bags in the first place. :(These are a good deal, BUT they are a really thick/heavy and a bit clunky. If you're just using them at home, (not for like, lunches or hiking trips), they'll work just great.I love the durability of these bags. The weekly dial is genesis and helps me to remember when I put food into the bag. It holds about 4 cups of anything and can easily measure amounts for storage or cooking. I purchased as a set of 3. Love the color variations. Easy to wash and dishwasher safe - as well as microwave and freezing. These are great for gift giving.It probably works as advertised, but I returned it as I feel that the opening is too small and inconvenient to wash, put item in or take them out
