I love relaxing on the couch, watching tv with snacks, maybe scrolling on my phone. But I like to sit back and be comfy, not have to keep sitting up to reach for my drink on the table or watch my remote, snacks, or phone slide down the side gap on my couch every time I move. This solves all those problems.It’s well made and sturdy, even the sides that hang down the couch arm are solid. It’s low key enough that it doesn’t stand out or look weird there (I think the dark color helps, a light one might stand out on my darker couch). I was worried it might be wobbly on my rounded couch arm but it sits on top quite steadily with no movement at all.Overall I am incredibly happy with this. I was worried something tall and heavy might not be secure on it but I’ve been able to put my big insulated cup on it with no problem at all.It’s not that big, so don’t expect it to hold a lot. I wouldn’t say it’s smaller than I expected, just that the things I planned to put on there take up more room than I expected. But it still has enough room to fit several items. In the picture I have my cup (30 oz size), remote, and glasses, and as you can see there’s not a lot of room for much else. Don’t expect it to hold your dinner plate. I have no complaints about the size, just make sure you know what you’re getting so you aren’t disappointed.If you need a close little surface for all your little couch items, this is the way to go. It’s made well enough that I expect it will hold up for quite a while.
