I have ordered these several times within the past year. They are so good!We normally eat the sweet plantain chips from Trader Joes but they aren’t always in stock so decided to try these. I didn’t think the TJ plantains could be matched (truly my favorite snack of all time) but these absolutely did.We would continue to order these (and in bulk) if they weren’t so ridiculously overpriced. For comparison, the TJ sweet plantain chips are $2 a bag and the bags are bigger. Instead, these reminded me of tostones. I liked them though. They're not too heavy, I felt they were salted well, and had good flavor.These are by far the best plantain chips I've ever had!ProsThese are the perfect thickness, texture and flavor. They aren't greasy like other brands. The sweetness is very natural and perfect.ConsThe price on Amazon is more expensive than Homegoods. Unfortunately Homegoods no longer stocks these chips (one bah for 2.99), so I needed an alternative.These are so delicious and are a nice substitute for potato chips.Really into these plantain chips, sea salt is my favorite. They are a great snack, but I do think they could add some more plantains to the bag for the price. Or at least make it an even 5oz bag. However, you are paying for quality. You will always pay more for gluten free and paleo snack items, so its as I expected. Chips arrived in good condition, will order again.I think I’m addicted.
