Use this for my 10 year olds lunch. It's much smaller than I thought but she loves it. I'm able to get half a sandwich and pretzels in the lower container. The individual yogurt and fruit containers on the upper level leak if they are even remotely close to the top as there is no seal. It's sturdy and washes well in our dishwasher - no warping.Attractive but too small. The lid for the smaller cups don't seal tightly - any movement and the lid comes off. Even if liquids are not used, you don't want the contents spilling all over. Very disappointed with the product. It's more like a toy than an actual functional product.the quality is good and size is very excellent for kids bagsFor being plastic, Monbentos have longevity and really fun for kids to use. Both of my girls have had these for 4 years and I'm certain they will hold up in year 5. This box is perfect for what I would say is Prek K-2nd grade age range. We no longer have our bubble cards because they do get moisture and ruined in the dishwasher but I just pop stickers in there instead.These are European so, I can see why some reviewers are calling them small and take issue with the design. If you are used to packing larger lunches and portions I would go with something else and would consider this a snack box. It holds the amount oz as 3 compartment (medium size) lunch bot. This box can also be awkward to fit inside of a lunch box depending on what you have. It is tall and narrow, It just barely fits in our pottery barn standard boxes I put ours in there with a juice box and pouch and/or bag of chips.I mostly use this for hot lunches like mac and cheese, taco salad, nuggets or chicken and rice. The 2 top compartments are perfect size for veggies, berries, crackers and cookies. My only complaint is that lids don't have a tight seal so, i can't use them for liquids like dip or yogurt. As others have said, this isn't great for sandwiches so if you tend to pack them I would invest in different box. On sandwich days, I use the sistema sandwich boxes.This seems like a decent quality but I am disappointed in the size. I thought I'd be able to fit a sandwich (cut in half placed on its sides or stacked) in the bottom compartment. We use bread that has small square slices. I have to cut it in quarters and stack it like fallen dominoes. The sandwich falls apart at that point. Not ideal.love the quality of the lunchbox and even my 3 year old can open and put it all together. Kids love the token customizations.My mouth dropped open when I opened this it’s TINY. Well £17 do not waste your money. It’s tiny a sandwich might fit cut in half and squished in the bottom then in the top two bits maybe a few grapes in one and a few bits of popcorn say in the other. Absolutely ridiculous if you’re feeding a mouse big it. I bought this for a 10 year school boy who is going to be so upset when seeing this. Only bonus is relative quick delivery from France. When you open box the top two can easily just topple out and the kids on them are super easy lift on lift off which will be easy to knock and spill. In absolute shock that I was stupid enough to pay £17.I was cooking fresh food each morning, which I was pouring hot inside the bottom compartment, then adding the top white middle part and some snacks on the top part and then closed the box. Come lunchtime and my son and his teachers all struggle to remove the white part in the middle which got strongly sealed as food was getting colder and needed significant efforts and a knife to open it. So big warning: do not put hot food in it before going off to school or work! it is only for cold food, which can then be reheated in a microwave. We knew this was not a thermos but thought there would not be any issue putting hot/warm food in, so we drilled a small hole in the middle white section to get the pressure out and ensure my son can open the bottom compartment and eat! Otherwise it is of very good quality, great design, dishwasher safe and handy for microwave too.A nice sturdy box for my cold snacks which is what I wanted, but it is definitely not a sunny yellow and grey which is what u thought it looked like, but a dark mustard and a browny grey top. Quite adult colours and quite depressing. I kept it because I couldn't find anything similar, but it lacks joy.Its cute but small. Haven't returned; bought for 6yr old but he was unhappy with the size so kept for 3yr old. Very much only bento sized foods are ideal sandwich sticks etc.Wouldnt even fit a half sandwich in it easily.Cute interchangeable pictures on the lid. Separate storage areas very useful. Big enough for a toddler lunch. Shame its so expensive.
