I love chocolate, and I love hazelnut cream. So, what's not to love about this little (giant, actually) treat. First, the product itself is wonderfully tasty, it melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more. It's made and packaged in several different sizes making it a convenient as a treat or having it as a cookie with a cup of coffee. I have sent several packages to out-of-town friends as gifts. All love them and ask where to buy more. The only negative thing I experienced with this product was damaged packaging. The shipper sent the items in a padded envelope. That wasn't enough protection for the product when it traveled with the carrier. The envolope must have been under some boxes that crushed it. We found a way to enjoy the crushed pieces anyway.Recently I wrote a review of the wafers expressing my disappointment that the product expired two days after the delivery. Amazon promptly refunded my money. Thank you Amazon for excellent customer service. This was the first time there was a problem with this product. Family and friends who received the wafers as gifts during the past year and a half, described them a delicious! I recommend the Biscolata Wafers!Used for my chocolate craving while watching TV. See photo of 3 types of Biscolata cookies. 2 of the 3 cookie types ate not edible per disgusting condition + I dare say can give you nightmares! I am in the process of trying to return these Raspberry Pia Cookies (+ the DuoMax Cookies). You can see they are cracked + old, raspberry filling dried to a crisp, and the chocolate is a gross gray -literally - look at the photo! Received on 5/29, temp was 63 + package was delivered to me in person by my postal carrier. The DuoMax have bubbles in the chocolate (previously melted b4 shipping) with a hazelnut center that is anything but creamy - you can see it is super dehydrated. You cannot eat that! An issue could be that the boxes were not sealed - as if they toss damaged or left over old pieces in a box + sell as a normally packaged product. The cookies are individually sealed + not yet expired, so it is clearly a storage issue. I bought these boxes of cookies to make gift bags for a bachelorette party but they are not edible nor presentable. I am just thankful I opened a few to sample before making the gift bags! How embarassing that would have been! The Chocolate Pie Cookies was the only normal product received. Compare its smooth shiny chocolate to the disgusting chocolate of the Raspberry Pia + the DuoMax. I love these cookies but will not buy them again online. They are too pricey and a 2 out of 3 damaged rate is ridiculous - too big of a risk.These are truly snack size! Great for portion control, but if you've ever binged snacked like I do- it's a little bit of a hassle! But these snacks are yummy! The chocolate coating is thin, which blends well with the wafer inside. I bought different varieties, milky and hazelnut, and prefer the hazelnut over milky - hands down. So delicious as expected from being introduced to the "Bueño" chocolate snacks at 7-11. This is a different name and packaging, but still same taste!Freshness is a hit or miss! Same box but some pieces tasted stale and some were partially melted into the wrapper.The “good” ones were awesome though.I love these. They are so light and crispy yet have all the great hazelnut flavor. The packaging is really great too with individually packaged bars inside the overwrap in the full size version or a right-sized version that’s just perfect for one serving in the mini. Otherwise there is no difference in the product. And yes, it has been breakfast!These candies are tasty... similar to Kinder Bueno. Like Kinder Bueno, they melt easily. Ours arrived melted to their wrappers. The mess inside still tasted great though. Will order again when the weather cools. Although not an issue with me, this product is imported from Turkey.
