These are nicely glazed and fired ceramic pieces with a nice weight to them. I like the wavy surface and edges. Still very easy to clean!Beautiful plates…however….the color is not quite as brilliant as in the photo…I would dare say there was a little more green in it than what’s shown…I am in the process of doing an almost cobalt blue and white theme….I’m going ahead and keeping them…but it would have been nicer if they were as blue as shownI needed a new set of dishes and really loved the blue and shape of the dish. It didn't disappoint. I have bought the bowls and smaller salad plates that complete the set.I was very happy to have received these plates, they look even prettier like in front of you. They are easy to clean. Nice to serve guests food in.These dishes look handmade. The color is gorgeous. They would look great with any decor and they are heavy. Love, love ,love!I love the presentation of the meals I cook and these fishes are great and a good weight, ie not cheap thin glass. I would recommend them!I was really looking forward to getting this plate. I was disappointed when I opened the box and the plates were a lot lighter than the pictures advertised. Other reviews said some were light and others darker but they were all light and different than shown. Also, after taking the second plate out, the next plate was cracked all the way through. I would avoid purchasing these.A very nice and unique set of dinner plates! They are definitely beautiful and a blast to use, however there are some QC issues. See attached pictures. The initial set of plates i received, 3 of the plates had chips/spots where there was no glaze. The colors were not consistent as another reviewer has mentioned.I contacted the manufacturer and the service i received was fantastic. I explained the issues along with some photos and was assured the factory was immediately contacted about the issues. They replaced the set and everything in the new set was consistent as far as the color and glazing. Very pleased with with friendly, professional service.If you look at the 3rd photo, which is the bottom of the plate, you'll notice that there is no info on the plate that you normally find such as whether or not it's microwavable, etc. Almost all of my plates and bowls say "microwavable" and/or "dishwasher safe" and where it's made in.The plates are easy to clean thanks to the mirror like finish of the glaze. I could just spray things off followed by a sponge with soap or a rinse and place in the dishwasher. Beautiful plates that are fun to eat from. As with all new dinnerware, please wash well with soap before use. Love the uniqueness of the plates. If you found my review helpful, please let me know. Thanks!
